JP LAB (제이피랩, “we”) publishes this privacy policy under Article 30 of the Korean Personal Information Protection Act to protect your personal information and handle related concerns promptly. It applies to our websites (jplab.site, jplabstudio.com, jplabstudio.dev and their subpages, the “Website”) and to email you send us.

- The Website has no sign-up, forms, advertising, or visitor analytics.
- We only receive personal information when you email us.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the Website and Google Workspace receives our email; their servers may be outside Korea.
- The Gildam app has its own Gildam privacy policy.
1. Why we process personal information
- Answering inquiries: to read and reply to questions, partnership proposals, bug reports, and privacy requests you send.
- Delivering and securing the Website: to serve pages and block abnormal traffic and attacks.
We do not use personal information for any other purpose. If a purpose changes, we will take the steps required by law, such as obtaining separate consent.
2. What we process
| Context | Items | How |
|---|---|---|
| Email inquiries | Required: your email address and message Optional: your name and anything you include in the signature, body, or attachments | You send it to us |
| Visiting the Website | IP address, time of access, requested URL, browser and device information (User-Agent), security cookies | Processed automatically by Cloudflare |
We never ask for resident registration numbers or other unique identifiers or sensitive information. Please do not include them.
3. How long we keep it
- Email inquiries: one year after we finish handling the inquiry, then deleted. If a dispute or legal investigation is ongoing, we keep it until that ends.
- Website access data: we do not store access logs ourselves. Data that Cloudflare processes for delivery and security follows Cloudflare's retention policy.
- Where a law requires retention, we keep the information for that period.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except as permitted under Articles 17 and 18 of PIPA, such as with your consent or where a law requires it.
5. Processors
| Processor | Task |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Website hosting and delivery (CDN), DNS, security (attack and bot protection) |
| Google LLC | Receiving and storing company email (Google Workspace) |
We check that each processor's terms and data processing terms cover the matters required by Article 26 of PIPA, including processing only for the stated purpose, security measures, limits on sub-processing, supervision, and liability. We will update this policy if processors or tasks change.
6. Transfers outside Korea
Under Article 28-8(1)(iii) of PIPA, we transfer personal information abroad as part of the processing needed to provide the service, by disclosing the following in this policy.

7. Deletion
When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it without delay. Electronic files are permanently deleted so they cannot be recovered (for email, including emptying the trash), and paper is shredded or burned. Information that another law requires us to keep is stored separately.
